Whether refreshing an existing space or creating a new one, we balance the needs of landlords and tenants and develop a plan to get you back to business with minimal disruption.

With two busy and active boys, the cramped main floor layout of this midtown home didn't have the storage and open space the homeowners needed.

Reworking the structural plan for the main floor allowed them to gain a larger and more functional kitchen complete with significantly more storage and added seating options.  A powder room was added next to the stairs and custom built-ins in the living room, making the home a space they can now grow into.

This busy Kensington Market bike shop needed both a refresh and
increased functionality to better showcase their merchandise.

Taking the owner’s design concept of raw plywood and industrial pipes, the team added new flooring, exposed the ceiling and built custom features such as a front desk, shelving and wall-hung bike racks.  When the owner added a second location on Dundas St., the same concept as the initial renovation was carried forward, creating consistency between both spaces.

This full main floor renovation was an exciting project
to take on for these first time homeowners.

Once dated and dark, the space was opened up adding better flow and sight lines between the living room and kitchen.  The floor was levelled, with hardwood added to the living room and heated tile in the new kitchen.  An existing powder-room was remodelled and an antique door added a unique touch.

An extensive renovation made this 1950s bungalow a
bright and welcoming space for a busy family of five.

Removing the wall between the kitchen and the dining room connected the previously separate spaces while adding vaulted ceilings in the living room and a glass railing through to the basement created a further sense of openness.  New windows, a new roof, a remodelled bathroom and new flooring completed the project.

This suburban home north of the city had an original floor plan
with a few closed off rooms on the main floor.

A full kitchen renovation added significant storage and counter top space and removing the living room wall brought in more light and space throughout.  A custom fireplace surround, new flooring and two remodelled bathrooms added the sophisticated details the family was looking for while the addition of a mudroom and second floor laundry room gave them functionality for years to come.

When the homeowners purchased this property it was a neglected
rooming house with four kitchens and more than a dozen tenants.

An extensive renovation from the basement through to the third story included the replacement of all internal systems, a new kitchen with unique, solid sawn cabinets, two updated bathrooms and ultimately turned the house into a fully functional, four bedroom home.
